Sara Lourenco & Andrea Palombi have created R.I.D.A – Rome International Dance Academy in Italy, with the objective of building a contemporary dance program with an international profile. The program is designed to assist, support and develop the goals of talented young dancers. Having worked extensively in many foreign countries, Andrea & Sara have chosen to bring their experience in Italy, involving foreign teachers/artists from all over the world that share an artistic & pedagogical vision in order to fully develop the potential of each individual student.
Classic, Modern, Contemporary, Conditioning,Yoga, Anatomy, Theatre, Music, Improvisation, Partnering, Work field orientation, Guest Choreographers & Repertoire of excellency.
R.I.D.A is a 2 years education program. To facilitate a better integration with the international artistic field, the course takes place entirely in English.
The main goal of the second year program is to develop the performing skills of each individual, therefore the group will work with different international renowned choreographers as a structural –Junior Company-.
In order to be considered for the program, candidates will have to audition: classic, contemporary and improvisation techniques + solo presentation (max. 3 minutes )
Age female/male from 18 to 25 years old. High school diploma. Strong classical & contemporary technic.
